This denim is a selvedge type, which is rare in hickory, so it can be used all the way to the edge. The width is 46 inches, which is wide.
The twill is herringbone, so there will be almost no distortion from washing.

Wabashと呼ばれるオールドスタイルのインディゴ＆ドットストライプです。
小さなドットはすべて色抜きの手法で作られています。非常に手間のかかる作業なので、安価な生地は存在しません。
縦糸はロープ染色なので、デニムのような色落ちが見られます。ストライプが消えることはありません。
オーバーオールのような作業着に適していますが、昔は礼服にも使われました。
そのほか、ベスト、シャツ、帽子、バッグ,.すべてのアイテムがファッショナブルになります。

It's an old style indigo and dot stripe called Wabash.
It is not so well known in Japan and Europe, but it is a popular vintage fabric in the United States.
All the small dots were made by a color-removing method. It is a very time-consuming job, so cheap fabrics do not exist.
The warp is rope-dyed, so you will see a denim-like fade. The stripes never disappear.
It is suitable for workwear like overalls, but in the past it was also used for formal wear.

緯糸にネップ糸を使ったデニムで、2x1綾なので大昔の生地を想像させるには十分な表情があります。
ネップは繰り返しの洗濯で徐々に取れますが、緯糸のスラブ感は残るのでユニークな色落ちになるはずです。
This denim was made in small quantities on an experimental basis.
Ｗeft is nep yarn. The warp is a #10 rope-dyed yarn.
Ｎep remove away with repeated washing, but the unique slub yarn remains, which will show a unique fade.
The fabric is shrink-proofed so there is no major shrinkage, making it easy to use.

インディゴ縦7.5番の耳なし倍巾デニムです。
12オンスの厚みですが適度なドレープ感がありサンフォライズドで非常に縫いやすい生地でビギナーにお勧め出来る素材です。
インディゴのトーンが濃紺より一段明るいものになっているので、正にアメリカンカウボーイジーンズのテイストです。
ブロークンツイル織は元来ジーンズの捻れ型崩れを防ぐために採用されましたが、従来の綾デニムも生地加工の進歩で安定した生地が生産出来るようになり、かなり以前から機能面の優位性がなくなりました。しかし独特の見た目と風合いがありファンは少なくありません。

The indigo tone is one shade lighter than the dark blue, giving it a true American cowboy jean taste.

未防縮生地(キバタ)のため、洗濯後は厚さ（オンス）が増え14oz以上になります。
ヘビーオンス系では珍しい黒ｘ黒のデニムです。
糸はタテヨコに大胆なピッチのスラブを使用しているため、ザラつき感のインパクトは相当で、実際の重さ以上に厚みを感じます。
ロープ染めの縦糸なので、表側では色落ちがあると思われますが、長期に渡ってそれほど印象は変わらないでしょう。
Both warp and weft threads are black. Moreover, it uses the same yarn as the highly acclaimed #666D, known for its bold, coarse texture.
This denim's uniqueness is best understood not by looking at it, but by feeling it.
It's hard to tell from the images, but anyone who touches it will be fascinated by its unique texture.
Kibata is not suitable for zipper fly. We recommend the button fly type.

表記のOz,Width,Shrinkage(オンス、巾、縮率)は相対化するために独自に計測したものです。そのため、同種のメーカーの表記とは違う場合もあります。
縮みについて---特に表記のないデニムは防縮加工をされています。ジーンズの場合丈を３-4パーセント程度長くして下さい。織りの緩めな生地ほど縮む傾向にありますが、同時に伸びやすさもあるのでウエスト等の修正はあまり気を使う必要はないでしょう。
Selvedge Denimとは---生地端に耳のついたシングル巾（70-85センチ）のデニムです。一般的な倍巾デニム（２メートル近いロール）を個人で運んだり広げたりなどでは取り回しが大変です。又、Selvedge Denimは耳を生かす事でロック処理が省けます。Selvedge Denimはその点だけでも非常に楽です。又,ほぼ日本だけが永続的に生産しているマニアックな生地です。
一見同じような未洗いのブルーデニムですが、縦糸の種類や緯糸の色、打ち方など様々に工夫されていますので、お手に取れば十分違いをお楽しみ頂けると思います。
